Jaime Burnet's first novel, Crocuses Hatch From Snow, was published by Nimbus Publishing in 2019. Crocuses was shortlisted for the Thomas Raddall Atlantic Fiction Award and the ReLit Award. Her forthcoming novel, milktooth, will be published by Nimbus in Spring 2025.

Jaime lives with her kids and dog in Mulipjɨkejk/Herring Cove, Mi’kma'ki/Nova Scotia, where she writes, makes dark lofi folk music, and walks by the ocean. She practices labour, employment, and human rights law in Kjipuktuk/Halifax.
